iPhone 3G Is Out!
Apple just announced iPhone 3G which will be out July 11th in some countries. A lot of improvements which include built in GPS, 3G, exceptional battery life, enterprise support as well as a list of other features all for only $199. Sadly though no Arabic support and Kuwait is not on the list of countries but Jordan and Egypt are, go figure!

Hi,
This is the weekness of apple. They can not support all.They just support some countries.
By this way they will loose their little market in those countries.
As we have seen the apple TV did not worked in Kuwait as well.
Hope someone take some action to support Kuwait since it has a lot of rich people that are already attracted by iphone and will bey it immidiately.
I will be the 1st if it comes!
Unfotunaltely Steve Jobs and the apple wont care about what I say but anyway lets just hope…

we can get from Alghanim & Eureka but prices are too much high then original.

and yes we can use that unlocked iphone in kuwait as well.

you are either using the first generation of iphones or you are lying. 3G iphones havent been unlocked yet. they have managed to jailbrake it which is different from unlocking.

Kaja your a big liar , Nobody in all of kuwait has bought the 3G iphone , you know why ?
First : you have to buy it from the states with a service plan .
Second : it’s still locked and nobody have unblocked it yet .
Third : nobody knows when when it will be realeased in kuwait or even the middle east .

I have been using the old generation for Iphone, i am very happy with it, i have been trying to find the 3G, it was said on Apply’s web ” its faster, and ” Cheaper “, so if any rizing in price happens, its from us arabs.
-Well.. Ofcourse you are lying kaja, The 3G is not out yet in kuwait, but why buy it from America, while i can get it from Egypt or Jordan!!, Which is weird though!!!, And by the by , YES in egypt they have unlocked the 3G, beleive it or not, i didnt see it though, i was told so.
ANYWAY!, Its coming sooner or later, the problem is that , companies will raise the price reallll high , but as kuwait we dont have a problem with that do we ? L:)

Yes it does, All you need is a Jailbroken iPhone 3G with an Any-Network Sim (http://www.any-network.com)and the iPhone will work inshallah,
Also, you can get yourself an Official unlocked iPhone (From France, The Netherlands or China) and never worry about Jailbreaking or Unlocking.

The IPHONE 3G can not be unlocked but they can be jailbreak which is a very good thing for a start.
you can add apps to it also you can make it have Arabic support thats why its important to jailbreak it. The only way you can make the 3G Iphone work in kuwait is if you buy one of these smart sim cards and attached it to your phone sim card. if you do a google search you will have a better idea on what I’m trying to explain here. Or if you buy the Iphone from Hong Kong because Apple sell unlocked Iphone there for about $700.
There third aption for you is to wait because Apple will start to distiprute the Iphone in Egypt, Qatar, and UAE. Until now its not really clear if they are going to be unlocked but it will be exlusive for Voda phone in eygpt and Qatar and I think Etisalat in UAE. If you live in the states now and have an account with AT&T and you are eligable for an upgrade it is worth to do it because you can get the Iphone 3G 16 gig for only $299. I jailbreaked it myself which is a very easy procces all you need to do it get quickpwn software for the version firmware you have and run the porogram. my advice is that you do a little reading before you attempt to jailbreak your phone because once you do that you lose your warranty.
