The photo above was taken off the NBC TV show “The Today Show” during the day of windows 7 launch, Microsoft CEO “Steve Ballmer” was showcasing Windows 7 during an interview, The NBC media crew were showing a Macbook Pro with a windows 7 logo on the screen.. the good thing that Steve didn’t turn and look behind him while that photo was up .

Apple Just released a new set of it’s famous “Get a Mac” Tv ads, This time they’re aiming straight at Microsoft’s “Laptop” Hunters Tv ads which they’ve been rolling out aiming straight at apple’s success in selling Laptops.

Apple has released the first new series of ‘Get a Mac’ ads since Microsoft began it’s pointed ad campaign targeting Apple’s prices.
Apple continues with the “Mac” and “PC” characters pointing out flaws in Windows with their latest series of ads. The new ads are titled: Biohazard Suit, Legal Copy, Stacks, and Time Traveler. All the videos are also available on Apple’s site.

Microsoft been releaseing several TV ads bashing the Mac and claiming that it’s way overpriced and that PC’s can do more for less. What they did is that they’ve let people choose their next computer spec and set the price and if they find it they get to keep it, and intentially letting them feature the mac as beeing cool but way overpriced for what it can do.

As you can see The ads specifically target Apple’s Macs as having a higher cost than PCs. Hesseldahl rehashes the usual arguments on cost, but also gets a rare comment from Apple’s PR department on the new ads. Apple’s Bill Evans said of the ads:
“A PC is no bargain when it doesn’t do what you want …. The one thing that both Apple and Microsoft can agree on is that everyone thinks the Mac is cool. With its great designs and advanced software, nothing matches it at any price.”
