According to PC World Magazine’s tests, the fastest Windows Vista notebook this year is (or ever): the MacBook Pro, Not a Dell, not a Toshiba, not even an Alienware. The MacBook Pro’s PC WorldBench 6 Beta 2 score of 88 beats Gateway’s E-265M by a single point.
Apple announced that they sold over two million copies of Mac OS X Leopard on its opening weekend.
“Early indications are that Leopard will be a huge hit with customers,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “Leopard’s innovative features are getting great reviews and making more people than ever think about switching to the Mac.”
The previous release of Mac OSX “Tiger” took a month to reach the same number of sales .
Leopard launched officially on Friday, October 26th at 6 p.m. EST
Apple has posted a Quicktime of the new iPod touch television advertisement that started airing tonight. The ad was inspired by a student made advertisement posted to Youtube.
According to sources, It is believed for Apple to deliver new MacBook as early as tomorrow/Today “Tuesday” While an exact date has been hard to determine, MacBook updates are expected within the next week, with evidence pointing to Tuesday.
No details on what this update would deliver ? We’ll have to wait and see.
The MacBook was last updated in May of 2007.
UPDATE: Sources say that the update may be held till Nov 6th.

Good day everyone and sorry for the late post but it took us a while to get those pictures up for you. Our special correspondent and dear friend Mr. Baris Ozdamir has managed to get us some event pictures of the Leopard release at the Apple store in Internation Mall in Tampa Florida. As you can see from the pictures the line is long. It extends from the inside of the mall all the way to the parking lot.
