Numbers is the new member of the iWork 08 family.  It is a spreadsheet application very much like Excel. 

Keynote has new text effects, transitions, ability to generate animations.

Pages is now a better word processor and also a excellent page layout manager and includes 140 Apple designed templates.

iDVD has been enhanced with pro encoding features.

GarageBand now has multi-take recording with Magic GarageBand.  It has genres to play with.

iWeb is now better with live web widgets, GoogleMaps and Google AdSense.  New themes have been added as well as the ability to upload to personal domains and not just .Mac

According to several rumors sites, Apple seeded Tiger 10.4.11 update to developers. MacRumors states:

A list of bug fixes has been publicly circulating, and include: AFP Server, CUPS and IPP, dyld and prebinding, CoreTextFont, ImageIO, dyld and threaded programs, SearchKit, enabling/disabling Bluetooth, CoreAudio and Safari, CoreAudio and decoding iTunes Plus files, File Manager and POSIX volumes, Daylight Savings and New Zealand time zones, Networking and Cisco VPN, Networking and UDP packets,HFS and non-existent blocks, Directory Services, AFP X Client and Kerberos, SearchKit and Zip disks, and Service Manager.

Apple today released another update to iTunes . The update note states that it is simply some bug fixes. You can get the update through software update from the Apple menu.
